onCHained: Swiss NFT Show
The exhibition "onCHained: Swiss NFT Show" curated by Snowcash (Georg Bak) is an overview of the Swiss NFT landscape. Switzerland is still considered a pioneer of blockchain technology and is often also perceived as Crypto Valley with its epicenter around the canton of Zug. Vitalik Buterin - the renowned co-founder of the Ethereum Blockchain - has left his mark in Switzerland as well as the first Web3 NFT game "Spells of Genesis", which was launched in Geneva back in 2015. First NFT platforms like elementum.art (at that time still noow.art) and Orion Vault have already offered the first NFTs in 2019 - i.e. two years before the big NFT boom - including digital artworks by Larva Labs (creators of the Cryptopunks) and Alexander Mordvintsev (inventor of the Google Deep Dream algorithm).
The exhibition includes works by internationally renowned artists such as Urs Fischer, Andreas Gysin (aka ertdfgcvb), Leander Herzog and Eko33, as well as young talents, some of whom will present entirely new works to the public for the first time. The exhibition opens at the first Swiss NFT gallery unpaired. on September 7 and runs until September 28.
